Happy New Year!

2008573876

All of us at Market Street Shoes would like like to extend you our warmest holiday greetings and wish you all a Happy New Year!  Thank you for your support throughout 2011, for helping make our move across the street successful, and for continuing to support a local small business and your local economy.

Stay tuned in the coming days of January for the relaunch of our website www.marketstreetshoes.com where you'll finally be able to purchase shoes online.  Yay!  We'd love to hear your feedback as we go along.  We will strive to make that experience as positive and engaging as your in-store experience.  We'll launch the site quietly with our core product offerings as we transition seasons, but many new styles, and some new brands, are slated to arrive in-store and online throughout January, February, and beyond.  We're very excited and can't wait to share the new site with you.

We should also point out our updated Winter hours for Friday and Saturday nights.  We'll be closing at 8 PM, just like the rest of week, in honor of Old Man Winter's need for a break from the 10 PM hoopla we carry on with the rest of the year.  Sunday maintains the same 6 PM closing, and we'll continue to open at 10 AM everyday.

Again, thank you, thank you, thank you!

Happy New Year!

Peanut Butter = 10% OFF

Happy Holidays!

Well, here we are, the last weekend before the winter Holidays begin, and we've got lots of great gift ideas for the loved ones on your list.

Shoes, of course, and slippers too, hats and scarves and coats for you, mounds of luscious socks and tights to keep your feet cozy day and night.

Usually around the holidays we make some silly offers about wearing your favorite Christmas sweaters, or bringing in a plate of your favorite baked good, or the like, in exchange for a discount on your purchases.  But this year we would like to help our friends and neighbors in need over at the  Ballard Food Bank buy holding a peanut butter drive.  The cost of peanut butter has risen over 40% in the last couple of months, and as a shelf stable protein it plays an important role in the cupboards of those in need.

This weekend bring in a jar, or more, of peanut butter and take 10% off your purchases through Sunday the 18th.

We'll keep the goody tray full of delectables from our friends at Great Harvest, and the Joe from Cupcake Royale hot.

We look forward to seeing you in the store!
